Our lab investigates quantum many-body systems using ultracold Bose gases in optical lattices. We have engineered a fast and efficient method for producing Bose-Einstein condensates with rubidium atoms using a modified compressible crossed dipole trap. Our current research focuses on the many-body physics of ultracold atoms in anti-dot optical lattices.
